Felted Wool Ornaments
Folk artist Sara O'Konski shapes
these marvelous
needle-felted wool
pieces at her home studio in
Kansas.
Beginning with un-formed tufts of
wool roving,
she carefully works the
fleece with special barbed needles
to
create these unique stylized figures.
Initially made to
be Christmas decor,
her many admirers enjoy them in
their homes year-round.
